Description
Demineralization or Deionization is the process of removing mineral salts from water by using the ion exchange process. With most natural water sources it is possible to use Demineralisation and produce water of a higher quality than conventional distillation. The demineralization process utilises acid regenerated cation resin & caustic regenerated anion resin to remove minerals from water. Trolly mounted automatic operation DM Plants are also available for small industries and laboratories.
DM Plants are available in a wide range with max flow rate from 10 Ltrs/hr to 250000 Ltrs/h in standard plants.

CONSTRUCTION
Two Ion exchange MSRL / FRP shell, one is Cation Exchanger and other is Anion Exchange fitted with MSRL / PVC pipe lines, valves, strainers and filled up with Cation and Anion Exchange Resigns and containing Acid and Alkali proof pots for regeneration.
OPERATION
In the simplest system the raw water flows successful through a Cation Exchanger regenerated with acid an Anion Exchanger regenerated with caustic soda. When the raw water passes through Cation Exchanger all the Cations are retained by the resin and there is no longer anything in the water but the acids of the salts it contained initially. Then the water passes through Anion Exchanger which absorbs the Acids and thus the D.M water is produced.

Purified water as per I.P conductivity -1 to 20 micro ohms/cm
pH of D.M water : Around 7.0 Storage Battery : IS : 1069 / 64
